New Blogging Content for 2014

This year (Q1-2014), I am going to refresh my website. So I can really focus on that during the first quarter, I’m changing my blog content. Instead of coming up with topics, doing the necessary research and writing, I’m going to use some great resources I’ve located from Eric Ligman – Microsoft Sales Excellence Manager. This link contains a huge resource of free Microsoft training, videos, books and guides that I think you will enjoy. Please bookmark the link and explore. There are over 150 free books for download in several formats (for different readers or just a pdf). I may write some of my own content this quarter, but I won’t run out of content here.

When I do start blogging again (probably April-May timeframe), I’d like to get your suggestions on what you’d like to read. Please leave a comment or use my contact form here on the site.

I built this site about 6 years ago, but the theme is old – it’s the Flexx Theme from iThemes, a fine premium theme and plugin company located here in Edmond, Oklahoma. However, it’s not responsive and I’m just ready for a new look! I’ve already started working on my new site and need to ‘just do it’, as the saying goes.

Office 15-Minute Series

I’ve been a fan of the 15-minute series for several years. Each Tuesday morning, someone from this Office Team does a video – keeping them to 15 minutes – that I’ve found very helpful. Here’s the link if you want to bookmark this site or get the calendar of events. This one has 10 of the top tips shared in 2013.

Top 10 Tips from the Office 15-Minute Series

In this video:

  • How to pick up where you left off in Word
  • How to use Excel Surveys in the cloud
  • How to use Outline View in PowerPoint
  • How to put your page tabs on the left in OneNote
  • How to use version history in Office Web Apps
  • How to use keyboard shortcuts in Outlook.com

My focus this quarter will be Microsoft Office and Office 365 tips since these are products I use every day and try to learn more about them so I can help my clients. Thank you for your readership, I appreciate it.
